Horizontal Studios Mixdown & Mastering Audio & Data Submission

Thank-you for choosing us to mix and/or master your music, we will endeavour to get the best possible result for you. In order to submit the audio without issues, please try to follow these guidelines, any questions or concerns please let us know at: info@horizontalstudios.com

Mixdown:

• Send project files zipped via Dropbox (preferred), WeTransfer or FTP • Please provide un-normalized 24/32 Bit AIFF/WAV files.

• Make sure all files are labelled clearly (e.g. Kick, Snare, Vocal) and please note the Song Tempo on the project folder, e.g, ARTISTNAME_SONGNAME_TEMPO

• Please send separate special effects aux stems where possible.

• Vocals Channels should be sent without Reverb/ Delays, and please provide those effects on separate channels if possible please.

• If you have many groups please supply those group channels and colour code stems belonging to the groups.

• Please send your last rough mix as a reference.

• Feel free to supply reference tracks, notes, wishes, concerns & ideas for the mix.

Mastering:

• Send project files zipped via Dropbox (preferred), WeTransfer or FTP

• Please provide un-normalized, non clipped 24/32 Bit AIFF/WAV files.

• Please provide your reference of your mix with limiter if you prefer, but please avoid sending a premaster with limiter on.

• Feel free to supply reference tracks, notes, wishes, hopes & ideas for the master.

Stem Mastering (5 Stems):

• Send project files zipped via WeTransfer (preferred) Dropbox or FTP.

• Please provide un-normalized 24/32 Bit AIFF/WAV files.

• Please for example make groups such as: Kick, Bass, Percussion, Synths, Vocals.
